This document sets out the terms and conditions between Miquido Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. and you when you purchase a ticket. By purchasing a ticket or registering your interest for Mobiconf 2020 you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. We advise you to read this document carefully. Miquido reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. 

Payment

Submission of online registration is regarded as a firm booking and acceptance of these terms and conditions however the booking will not be confirmed until full payment has been received. Payment in full must be received at the time of registration and no later than before the date that the conference begins. In the event that full payment is not received by then, the delegate will be refused entry to the conference. Registration is operated by the Evenea platform. 

Invoices

Only a digital version of invoices will be sent to participants upon completion of the online registration. The invoice will be issued using the billing details provided on the registration form so please make sure you have provided us with the correct information (company name, address, and VAT/tax identification number if applicable). 

Privacy Policy

The personal information supplied in connection with this booking will be held by Miquido according to the rules as set out in the Privacy Policy. 

Transfer

All tickets are fully transferable until seven days before the conference. Transfers must be communicated to the conference organizer in writing. Tickets are not refundable. 

Changes and postponements

Miquido reserves the right to make alterations to the conference programme, venue, and timings at any time. In the event of the need, for whatever reason, to postpone the conference or change the dates, the organizers shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the delegate. 

In the event of a change of the date of the conference you reserve the right to withdraw your application by the written notice sent to Miquido within 3-days period following the day of receiving an information about the change of the date of the conference.

Force majeure

In cases of force majeure, which should be understood as external circumstances independent of Miquido and which could not have been prevented, in particular in cases of an emerging or suspected epidemic threat, natural disaster, declaration of war or emergency, as well as an order of authorities, Miquido reserves the right to cancel Mobiconf 2020 or introduce any changes in the programme of the conference and its form, i.e. by organising the conference in the form of webinars.

If your application is related to your professional or business activity, Miquido shall not be liable for any costs or damages incurred by you related to the cancellation of the Mobiconf 2020. In particular, Miquido will not be obliged to refund the ticket price you paid. 

Insurance

It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference. Miquido cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property. 

Visa Requirement

It is the sole responsibility of attendees to comply with any applicable visa requirements. Attendees should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications. Attendees must have registered and paid the required registration fees before requesting an official letter of invitation. All requests should be made during online registration. Please note that the organizers will not be able to contact or intervene with any embassy or consulate office on behalf of a participant. 

Event audio/video recording, photography and live transcript

During the conference, meetings, and party, photographs may be taken by the hosts/organisers for use in their publications or other promotional materials. In addition, all the sessions are subject to video and audio recording for webcasting and archival purposes. By attending the sessions, you agree to allow the Organisers and other entities including but not limited to, local organisers, hosts, co-hosts, and supporting organisations, the unrestricted right, and permission to copyright and use, reuse, publish, and republish video and/or audio recordings, photographs, presentations or pictures of you or those in which you may be included. Also, live transcript services will be provided in some sessions. Due to the inherent difficulties in capturing a live speaker’s words, it is possible transcripts may contain errors and mistranslations. The appointed Scribers and the Organisers accept no liability for any event or action resulting from the content of the transcripts. 

General

We reserve the right at all times to change, amend, add or remove any of the above terms without prior notice If one or more of the conditions outlined in these Terms & Conditions should be or become invalid, the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply. These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants of this event, including speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors.
